At Kids Connection Preschool, we believe in nurturing the whole child by offering a diverse array of specialist classes and enrichment opportunities that complement our core curriculum. These programs are designed to foster creativity, physical development, cultural awareness, and technological proficiency, ensuring our students receive a well-rounded early education.

Integrated into the regular school day, our specialist classes provide students with engaging experiences led by dedicated instructors.

Music (All Ages)

All preschool students participate in weekly music classes where they explore rhythms, melodies, and various musical genres. Through singing, movement, and instrument play, children develop an appreciation for music and enhance their auditory skills. Twice a year, they showcase their talents in performances for their families.

Spanish (Starting in Early Learners - 3 Year Old’s)

Beginning at age three, students are introduced to the Spanish language through weekly classes. Utilizing songs, stories, and interactive activities, children build foundational vocabulary and cultural understanding in an enjoyable and immersive environment.

Physical Education (Pre-Kindergarten/TK)

Our Pre-Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten students engage in weekly physical education classes led by our elementary PE teacher. These sessions focus on developing gross motor skills, coordination, and teamwork through age-appropriate games and activities, promoting a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.

Computers (Pre-Kindergarten/TK)

In preparation for the digital age, Pre-K and Transitional Kindergarten students attend weekly computer classes with our elementary technology instructor. They learn basic computer skills, digital literacy, and engage with educational software that supports their cognitive development and prepares them for future academic endeavors.

Optional Enrichment Programs

Beyond our included specialist classes, we offer optional enrichment programs that take place during the school day. These programs provide additional avenues for students to explore their interests without the need for parents to arrange off-campus activities.

Small Fry Dance

This on-campus dance program introduces children to various dance styles and movement techniques. Participants not only enjoy the physical benefits of dance but also gain confidence and stage presence by participating in biannual recitals alongside their peers.

Gymnastics

Offered weekly, our gymnastics class focuses on building strength, flexibility, and balance. Through structured exercises and fun routines, children enhance their physical capabilities and self-esteem in a supportive environment.

Cooking Class

Our weekly cooking class invites young chefs to explore the culinary arts. Students learn about nutrition, follow simple recipes, and engage in hands-on cooking experiences that foster creativity and practical life skills.
